INSTRUCTIONS
Each time slot accommodates 2 artists, where you may alternate between printing and inking during a one-hour session.
- Each artist will be charged $90–$105, depending on ink preference.
- To reserve the full time slot for yourself, select a quantity of 2 at checkout.
- If you're printing with a group, you must reserve the full slot by selecting a quantity of 2.
If you would like the museum to provide ink, please add ink to your cart before checkout. You may also choose to add ink the day of, but we highly encourage your to pre-plan your ink needs as we can not guarantee ink if there is high demand.
Provided by the museum:
- Steamroller operation for (1) full hour
- 12" brayers plus inking surfaces and assistance inking plates if desired
- Drying area for completed pieces
- (optional) Ink*
*The museum will provide black Gamblin oil-based ink for an additional fee. If you prefer to use your own ink, you are welcome to do so at no additional charge. However, if you are using a colored ink you will need to bring your own brayers and inking surfaces. Each ink charge is applicable to (1) time slot. So if you need ink, add your desired slot i.e.: (1) 9AM-10AM + (1) Museum Provided Ink. If you are reserving a full slot, add (2) 9AM-10AM + (2) Museum Provided Ink.
Provided by the artist:
Artists are responsible for bringing their own paper, linen, etc. as well as their printing blocks. Please keep blocks to a 36" width to fit within the roller press and 1/2" or thicker. Blocks can be made from MDF board that has been sealed with shellac or polyurethane and dried prior to printing, plywood, or linoleum.
You will also be responsible for cleaning your block after your print time. You are welcome to stay on site to clean your block but the museum will not be able to provide cleaning supplies or assistance in cleaning. Running water and trash receptacles will be provided. No dumping of hazardous materials down city drains.
We will have students and volunteers available to help ink and facilitating printing.

Event, class, and camp registration cancellations are refundable until two (2) weeks before the event date. Refunds generated for cancellations will be the total amount paid less the processing fees. Cancellations that are enacted less than two (2) weeks prior to the event are non-refundable.
